Walton international scholarship was founded to provide opportunities that change lives, which support the faith of each individual and seize the minds of young people so that they have a significant impact in Central America and Mexico.
the founder of Walmart, Sam Walton, and his wife Helen launched the program with the promise of funding 60 scholarships annually for each of three universities in Arkansas, which are rendered in the faith. From the beginning, the objective of the programme has been the promotion of democracy and free enterprise in Central America through education. Each year, the rigorous selection processes are held in the following countries: El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Belize and Mexico. So they identify the next generation of students.
deadline to apply for one of these scholarships is January 15. The requirements are to possess high moral character, having good grades, high level of English and demonstrate financial need. Focus areas of study in business, English, and science.
